Hi....am thinking that touring Canada on a motorbike is something my man & I really must do......where to start????? has anyone got any info or suggestions re: hiring/buying/finding a bike for the purpose? what licensing/legal requirements we may need? where to ride/what to see......
We regularly tour New Zealand (both islands) & it is an amazing place to ride. We happily clock up 1000's of kms a week when touring.....numb bums are no distraction ! When we ride we love to get out n see the place.....the odd coffee is a must but it's riding that's important to us. Canada looks like such a cool place....am interested in what the locals recommend......any help would be much appreciated. Cheers

Hi Mandy,
welcome and hope that you get to come to Canada for a ride. i would suggest renting/hiring your bike. most major retailers also have rent options. your international license might be good enough to rent and ride. but im not sure. as for the coffee you dont have to worry about that... we have the Tim Horton's chain here and its like the next holy Canadian institution after church. you will find many along the route that you will take |
